Ditto Mike's comment above. Very nice smooth valve but weak plastic bushing connecting the diverter body to the coupling nut. Guaranteed to snap if you try to adjust a sturdy showerhead like the S2005.

the removeable shower head doesn't stay in its spot and there was a defect in the arm of the shower head. Very disappointing and couldn't get anyone from Speakman to respond to my issues. Left messages several times and still haven't received a call back....

I am so sorry that I discarded my old Speakman Anystream. It had long ago become frozen in position, and would no longer swivel, plus the handle which adjusted the position of the sprayers was rather rusted out. I had it for so many years, and love it. Once the new one was installed, I discovered that it was not made the same as my old one. The water just "piddles" out, and the power of my old one is gone. I've read here, how people are removing the "water restrictor," but I have no idea how to do that. I am so disappointed that I cannot enjoy showers as I have for more than 25 years.

Functionally the best Ive ever had. Some shower heads look fancier but when it comes to providing and efficient stream of targetted water pressure for rinsing, nothing beats this. Used to have to dance between a wide/light spray for most shower heads. This directs the flow exactly as it should - bar none.

My old Speakman was a gift back in the mid 1980's. Due to the build-up of mineral deposits one of the plastic plugs popped. I found the homepage, gasped at the cost, thanked God for the gift that I did received, held my breath and bought a new one. When it came in I showed it around the office and everyone gasped at the expense. But I got 30 years out of the last one. This one should last me the rest of my life and I can spend something on myself now and again. I also took out the restrictor since I live in Missouri where water is quite abundant. The Speakman is something to talk about! I appreciate the spray design. Now I need a water heater that'll give me more than a seven minute shower!
