This item has cause me not to recommend any Speakman Shower Head again. The hose is not flexible enough that it causes the head unit to always tint to the left. I tried to straighten the hose line but it will still hit the back of shower wall forcing it to tilt the head to the left again and spray water to the shower door. This is dangerous and can cause water overflow to the bathroom floor. I have another shower head made by Speakman and it does not do this. I call for a replacement hose put was told none was available. Please do not purchase. Quality is not the same as before. I can go purchase a similar item at a local superstore for $20 with better result. Thanks!

I've meanwhile learned that I may have cracked the plastic bushing by overtightening the nut. Still, one shouldn't have to be this careful, and if this were a solid brass item it would be a 5-star product worth every penny. But... it isn't.

Great hose. No smell nor entanglement like with the plastic hose. Do put a 1/2" washer in the diverter end though, to prevent leaks. Wish it were 6' long instead of 5' though!

I am returning his showerhead to Speakman. My handyman and I both tried attaching it and found it leaked. There were no washers (as described in the directions) so water poured out the sides around the head when it was connected to the hose. This is the second time I've purchased and then returned Speakman's showerheads. They used to stand for quality.

I was disappointed. Frankly expecting this to be a stainless steel product, but just advertising puff. Regular steel with Stainless steel (finish). So, it is going back.
